SILOFAST D 8MG TAB 10'S

Silofast D 8mg tablet contains silodosin and dutasteride. It is used to treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland (BPH-Benign prostatic hyperplasia) in men like difficulty in urination, painful in urination, excess urination, inability to hold urine for a long time. Silodosin works by blocking alpha-1 receptor located in prostate and bladder which are responsible for causing smooth muscle contraction. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase it works by blocking action of 5-alpha reductase enzyme, which results in shrinkage of the size of prostate gland. Thus, provides relief from symptoms like night time urination, sudden urge to urinate, difficulty in urination, and strain while urinating is reduced, and the ability to urinate is increased with increased urine flow/output.
