Telma AM H is a combination of medicine used as a anti hypertension drug. It is used to treat high blood pressure. Telmisartan is an aniotensin II receptor antagonist it works by blocking action of angiotensin II in the body which causes narrowing of blood vessels resulting in high blood pressure. Blocking it hinders its action and result in proper blood flow through blood vessels.Amlodipine is an calcium channel blocker it works by relaxing the blood vessels and reduces the load on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretics,it works by relaxing blood vessels and preventing absorption of excess salt and preventing fluid retention. Thus providing relief from high blood pressure.
